Oh Apostrophe

My goal for this last year was to support and serve others in my community which I found myself not only supporting through simplifying & organizing but also marketing.

Along with my amazingly creative family (firm-tofu design), we’ve had the opportunity to support entrepreneurs build brands, launch websites & create content. It has been a blast.

I’m excited to share a recent project, Oh Apostrophe.

Oh Apostrophe is an established instagram handle dedicated to the creative work of Debora O’Donnell. Debora reached out to us to create the branding & website for her beloved brand.

Our process began by connecting with Debora on her vision and expectations for the Oh Apostrophe branding. It was a blessing that Debora trusted us to do whatever we felt was best for her & the brand.

To get us started, we asked her to take photos of all of her favorite items in her home, the ones that bring her true joy each day what inspires her. Debora provided images of her beloved skirt collection, favorite books, framed artwork and much, much more. Understanding Debora’s true passion & style from these incredible items.

Drawn from Debora’s inspiration, I created 5 different moodboards. On these boards, I included images of her favorite items and drew colors from them to create different color pallets for each. Here are a few sample boards for the Oh Apostrophe branding process where each board is named after one of Debora’s favorite books.

Within moments of finalizing the moodboards,  firm-tofu design concepted these brand marks, inspired by the boards.

Leveraging the moodboard “Table Manners” we flushed out the Oh Apostrophe branding and web design using many of Debora’s images for her instagram account.
