Fashion Without Fabrics:
Tasked with constructing a wearable garment using non-conventional materials (foam, cardboard, duct tape, paper) to explore the theme of Phobias or Philias. Applied material innovation and structural design principles to build a robust, communicative piece, I particularly enjoyed engineering the skirt component.
Mass Manipulation:
Explored the fundamental principles of mass, volume, and composition by utilizing positive and negative space. Designed and fabricated a sculptural piece, demonstrating proficiency with process lab tools and techniques to achieve a dynamic form study.
Linear Replica:
Executed a detailed replica of a tool or object to study and implement core design principles, specifically economy, scale, and proportion. The project required detailed attention to the object's fundamental line and form.
